Junior Software Support Specialist

Job Description

SCM Products, Inc. is a growing company located in Long Island that produces products for the financial, presentation and emergency service industry. We are currently seeking a Software Support Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with our company! Training on our existing products will be provided. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance on our software applications
  • Install applications on client servers
  • Troubleshoot application issues
  • Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
  • Track customer issues and resolutions
  • Testing of new applications that the software engineering team develops

Qualifications

  • Looking for 1+ years of experience
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • Experience with HTML a plus
  • Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Work well in a team or individually
